Cel badań i hipotezy/pytanie badawcze:
Celem artykułu jest ukazanie znaczenia koncepcji smart city w procesie zrównoważonego rozwoju wspólnot terytorialnych na przykładzie Łucka. Opracowanie ma również na celu identyfikację głównych komponentów rozwoju smart city oraz ocenę możliwości ich wykorzystania w rozwoju miasta, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wyzwań i perspektyw właściwych dla współczesnych miast ukraińskich.

Metody badawcze:
W artykule zastosowano analizę literatury przedmiotu, dokumentów, raportów i danych zastanych odnoszących się do rozwoju Łucka, a także badanie ankietowe przeprowadzone w tym mieście. Przyjęte podejście badawcze umożliwiło połączenie perspektywy teoretycznej z analizą empiryczną, co pozwoliło na wieloaspektowe ujęcie badanego problemu.

Główne wyniki:
Przeprowadzona analiza pozwoliła określić stopień wdrażania założeń smart city w Łucku, a także wskazać najważniejsze osiągnięcia i ograniczenia związane z tym procesem. Wyniki badania pokazują, że rozwój inteligentnego miasta może stanowić istotne narzędzie wspierające zrównoważony rozwój wspólnot terytorialnych.

Implikacje dla teorii i praktyki:
Uzyskane wnioski mają również znaczenie praktyczne, ponieważ mogą stanowić podstawę do formułowania rekomendacji dla polityk miejskich oraz działań podejmowanych w procesie odbudowy i modernizacji miast ukraińskich.
