The economic reality of contemporary times is leaning against technological achievements, the process of globalisation and the temporary pressure. In these conditions the great weight is being attached to human resources of the organization which are perceived as the source of the long-lasting competitive edge. In the article important tools of the modern recruitment and selection of candidates trying the work to get in the modern organization were described, being based on a thesis, that the knowledge, abilities and qualifications of employees were becoming the most important assets of a company. Moreover ones of the most popular techniques of examining the usefulness of candidates for including a planted workstation were described.
