ABSTRACT
The aim of the paper is to present the issues connected with the implementation of the assistance projects in NATO. The specificity of these projects is due to their multinational nature and to their non-commercial objectives: ensuring security and post-conflict stabilization. The general characteristics of the NATO-led projects was introduced, paying particular attention to the assistance projects implemented within the Trust Fund Partnership for Peace Program. The main participants of the projects were presented, emphasizing their importance and tasks. The article also discusses the life cycle of such projects and how they are managed. The author also emphasized the lessons learnt resulting from several years of project activity in this area.
