Research objectives and hypothesis/research questions: The aim of the study was to confront the conclusions from analyses of theoretical studies with the practice of the employment agency specializing in servicing business entities from the TSL (transport-forwarding-logistics) sector, including the aviation industry. The hypothesis was adopted that the challenges of the aviation labour market identified in the course of theoretical research would be detailed by being related to the specificity of challenges in the employment areas most common for outsourcing, individualized in the context of the area of research implementation, by specifying the challenges related to the area of the planned location of the Central Communication Port project and discussed against the background of the general staffing situation in the TSL industry.
Research methods: In order to achieve the assumed objective of the study, the case study method was used.
Main results: The employment agency, being a link between business entities offering employment and potential employees interested in the offer, becomes an important entity in assessing the staffing situation in the aviation industry.
Implications for theory and practice: This assessment depends on the nature of the employment for which candidates are sought and the specificity of the geographical area in which they are sought, taking into account that agencies focus mainly on the issue of recruiting personnel.
